About

I'm originally from Yonkers, New York, and spent most of my life in the Bronx before relocating to Philadelphia. Outside of poetry, I enjoy horror, science fiction, and antiquing for oddities; I collect bizarre tchotchkes, old books, bones, and vintage ephemera. I'm what they call a "xennial." I'm a bit of a hermit and a bit of a nerd.

I co-founded Impostor and founded Dark Entries, which you can read more about on the projects page. I'm a former poetry editor for Toho Journal, and I've been a workshop leader, a featured open mic poet, and a guest speaker in classrooms.

Other interests and inspirations include hauntology, the macabre, the commodification of nostalgia, liminal spaces, carnivals and fairs, Coney Island, performance art, experimental/multimedia storytelling, sociolinguistics, New York City, the rapid evolution of social technology, Tori Amos, analog horror, urban landscapes, Stevie Nicks, etc.
